Every civilization has a changing influence on art and culture throughout societies. Each area of the world has a different point of view regarding life, religion, and society that effects the art they produce. This in turn influences cultures all over the world. Looking at art from a particular part of the world can tell you a lot about the way they live, what they believe, and what influences their lives. Regions that are close in proximity may share similar styles of art because the physical influences are similar or the same. For example, the environment, civil unrest, or financial struggles in a region may cause styles to overlap in some respects from one region to another.
Russia has long had a strong influence on art throughout the world. Over the years the styles have varied a great deal but that's because of the constantly changing society in that part of the world. Realism, cubism, and impressionism were explored in great depth in Russia over the centuries, producing many well respected works of art.
Alexander Kanevsky is a product of the Russian art society. His works have been shown in galleries all over the world and requested by cultural leaders to produce original works of art to represent their countries. His bold style and larger than life representations of animals and humans in crisp definition have drawn a great deal of attention everywhere they're seen.
Alexander Kanevsky dedicates a great deal of his time to his art. He's also an accomplished writer and well respected doctor. He currently lives in the United States and recently ran for governor of the state of Connecticut. With so much beauty to offer, his work will continue to awe and inspire for generations to come.
